Sophie Ray GAICD - Independent Chair

Sophie is an experienced Chair, Non-Executive Director and former regulatory lawyer, leading private, public, ASX listed and Not For Profit companies across a range of sectors. These include retail and business; hospitality & tourism; manufacturing; and welfare. In addition to being the Independent Chair of Peak Care Equipment she is currently Chair of the Shoalhaven Education Fund and Director of Silos Estate Winery. Previously, she was an Independent Director and Chair of RSL NSW; Chair of NAWO (National Association of Women in Operations); Chair of ROCC for Women; and a Non-Executive Director of GO2 People (ASX:GO2), Big Fat Smile, and Settlement Services International (SSI).

Sophie's executive career was as a Commercial and Regulatory lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Australia & the UK. She owns a small family business in regional NSW, where she lives and has also lived and/or worked in the UK, China, France, Uganda and Sydney.

Sophie has deep experience in Governance, Strategy and Risk, particularly in organisations going through change and transformation, and in member organisations. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Mark Boyd - Member Director

Mark is the Chief Executive Officer of AFS Health Services, a diverse business that includes four (4) Health and Mobility retail outlets in regional Queensland. He was appointed to the Board in August 2022. Mark is an experienced senior executive with career experience across the health, agriculture, and mining industries and previous board involvement on both commercial and community Boards.

Jason Malone – Independent Director

Jason was appointed as an Independent Non Executive Director in August 2023. Jason is an experienced CFO, CEO and Non-Executive Director. Jason has held positions as CEO of Mini Masterminds Childcare and CEO of Holdsworth Community Services in Sydney, he was previously the Divisional CEO of Aged Care Centres and Group CFO of the Illawarra Retirement Trust (IRT), Australia's largest community-owned senior's lifestyle and care organisation. Earlier in his career, he held roles as Head of Finance Australia and Asia at OneSteel Recycling, and Commercial and Supply Chain manager at OneSteel Metaland and the Australian Reinforcing Company. Jason brings with him strong skills in finance, risk, strategy and governance; experience in international supply chain and procurement; and a deep understanding of the disability, aged care and community sectors.

Julie Milne - Member Director

Julie Milnes is the CEO of Balance Mobility and has held the position since October 2022.She has owned her Business Coaching and Consulting Business, JDT International since 1998. Julie is an experienced Business Coach, Business Strategist and CEO with a demonstrated history of scaling and growing SME’s. Her main areas of experience are in scaling businesses, strategic planning, grant applications, export market development, team alignment, leadership and entrepreneurship. Her industries of management experience are manufacturing, retail and wholesale industries and in the consulting and healthcare sectors.

Stuart Peffer - Member Director

Stuart was appointed as a member director in October 2023. He is the managing director of Mobiquip Australia, an aged care and disability equipment provider in Northern Sydney which he founded in 2017, as well as having responsibilities for a mobile allied health practice and an aged care and disability equipment import/export operation. He is also leading an agricultural technology company responsible for modernising the interface between farmers and their livestock to improve animal welfare outcomes.

Stuart has extensive executive leadership experience with a track record of developing new products, services and markets, delivering effective and sustainable business management through embedding client centric principals into organisations. Prior to commencing his career in aged care and disability services, Stuart held various strategy and management positions in Australia, Asia and Europe in the Banking and Financial Services sector with companies including Allianz, ING, AMP and Citigroup.

Adrian Brown - Chief Executive Officer

Adrian was appointed as CEO in February 2023. He has a long career in sales, marketing, manufacturing, and supply chain management. Adrian was previously the General Manager of BladeStop at Scott Automation, and the General Manager (Sales & Planning) at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air Conditioning Australia. He has extensive experience in selling to distribution businesses and holds a Bachelor of Economics from ANU, an MBA from Deakin University.

Darren Legg - Chief Financial Officer

Appointed CFO in October 2022, Darren has been working in financial management, IT and accounting roles for over thirty years in a range of industries including importing, construction, safety, manufacturing, logistics and hire.

Aaron Cortesi - Operations Manager

Meet Aaron, a healthcare logistics mastermind who can turn even the most chaotic supply chain into a well-oiled machine. Joining us in March 2023, with a knack for solving problems and a reputation for excellence, he's the go-to guy for all your logistics and operational needs.

Brett Ferreira - Supplier Relationship Manager

Brett is a South African who has recently emigrated permanently to Australia with his wife and daughter.

He is an experienced, innovative leader with a demonstrated history of successes and achievements across various industries including retail, wholesale, oil & gas and automotive. This experience has been in senior roles at multinationals such as Yum! (KFC), Nando’s, Motus and bp. He’s also run his own successful Business and Executive Coaching & Consulting business.

He’s skilled in operations, marketing, negotiations and strategy. In addition to supply chain and project management. Brett holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with majors in Strategy & Industrial and Organizational Psychology amongst other certifications.
